Took our pup in for neutering about a year ago and our older dog in for dental cleaning last week, Both experiences were so good and the puppers were happy and healthy after. The staff and Drs are very caring!

This place Great staff and really good doctors my only complaint is that they have you drop between 8:30-9am and don’t end taking you in for another hour to a little over an hour to be taken in they should really work on their drop off process in the morning it’s very inconvenient to the customers.

Got a Quote from Another Tracy Vet? Call Us for a Second Opinion.

If a Tracy-area clinic just quoted you $1,800 for a dental cleaning or $500 to spay your cat, call us before you book. We'll tell you honestly:

  • Whether it's something in our scope (most spay/neuter and dental cases are)

  • What we'd charge for the same work

  • Whether you'd be better off at a full-service hospital for medical reasons

We won't take a case just because someone calls. If your pet needs diagnostic capability we don't have, we'll point you to a clinic that does.

Why We're Not the Right Fit for Everyone

We do four things: spay/neuter, dental cleaning, vaccinations, and basic wellness. We don't do emergencies, urgent care, internal medicine, or specialty surgery.

If your pet needs that level of care, call a full-service Tracy hospital first. Tracy Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care at 20 W. Grant Line Rd. has extended evening and weekend hours. Save that number before you need it.

We also turn away certain cases for safety reasons. Quick list before you book:

  • Seizure history, heart murmurs, active respiratory disease, or long-term steroid use

  • Dogs over 100 lb

  • French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Rottweilers, Persians (for dental; spay/neuter OK at appropriate weights)

  • Pregnant or postpartum pets

  • Active coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or diarrhea

  • Aggressive pets that can't be muzzled at home
