Why Livermore Pet Owners Drive to Tracy

From most of Livermore, our clinic in Tracy is about 25 to 35 minutes east on I-580 over the Altamont Pass. Livermore is one of our top customer cities. People come once, save money, and come back.

The savings are real and specific.

Our prices are the reason Livermore owners make the drive. A cat neuter starts at $105 and a cat spay at $130. A dog neuter starts at $170 and a dog spay at $200, set by your dog's weight. A full dental cleaning is $600 flat, and that covers pre-anesthetic bloodwork, full-mouth digital X-rays, scaling, polishing, and fluoride. Extractions are billed on top if your pet needs them.

You can review everything we charge on our prices and rates page.

Getting Here from Livermore

From most of Livermore, take I-580 east toward Tracy. Stay on I-580 across the Altamont Pass, then follow I-205 east into Tracy. Exit at Tracy Boulevard and head north to the clinic.

The drive runs 25 to 35 minutes outside of peak Altamont hours, longer when the pass backs up. Your morning trip runs against the heavy Bay-bound commute, so the eastbound side tends to move better. For spay and neuter appointments, we ask that you arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, so plan for the pass even on a short hop.

This place Great staff and really good doctors my only complaint is that they have you drop between 8:30-9am and don’t end taking you in for another hour to a little over an hour to be taken in they should really work on their drop off process in the morning it’s very inconvenient to the customers.

Got a Quote from Another Tracy Vet? Call Us for a Second Opinion.

If a Tracy-area clinic just quoted you $1,800 for a dental cleaning or $500 to spay your cat, call us before you book. We'll tell you honestly:

  • Whether it's something in our scope (most spay/neuter and dental cases are)

  • What we'd charge for the same work

  • Whether you'd be better off at a full-service hospital for medical reasons

We won't take a case just because someone calls. If your pet needs diagnostic capability we don't have, we'll point you to a clinic that does.
